About the event
The Opening of the 2024 Season Shoot for the Gentlemen Guns of The Adelaide Club and the Sporting Guns of the Naval, Military & Air Force Club will take place with an informal shoot at the International Gun Club, Buckland Park, on Saturday 17 February 2024.
This is a forty-five-minute drive along the Port Wakefield Road from the Adelaide CBD. Regardless of whether one has shot previously, everyone is welcome to join in; so do not hesitate to ‘come and try’ and satisfy your curiosity. Member’s guests, including children above the age of twelve are welcome to participate.
The programme will consist of twenty-five targets – Down the Line, with a similar number - Five Stand. This type of clay target shooting generates a huge amount of fun and will be followed by a light lunch.
Price: $100.00 for members, Guests $110.00. Includes targets and a light lunch but does not include ammunition. Cash or card on the day.
Ammunition: To reduce the overall cost of this event Guns are to provide their own 12-gauge ammunition. It is recommended 250 rounds 7.5s (six packets). Ammunition will be available for purchase from the International Gun Club.
Time: 1000 hours to 1500 hours.
Venue: International Gun Club, Camelo Road, Buckland Park. Forms a T junction with the western side of Port Wakefield Road.
Dress: Casual. Personal ear and eye protection are ESSENTIAL. Equipment will be provided for anyone who does not possess their own.
