Facilities and Amenities

Local members appreciate the Club’s convenient location in the south-east corner of the central business district.

For the information of reciprocal club members who wish to stay at the Club this is a quiet sector of the city but within close proximity to Adelaide’s main attractions. Nearby are the Hutt Street cafes and restaurants, and a short walk will bring guests to the bustling Chinatown and Central Market areas. Here also is Victoria Square, which is the base for the international Tour Down Under cycling event, and where one can catch the Entertainment-City-Glenelg tram. In the opposite direction is East Parklands. Not only is this parklands area a centre for various motor events and the renowned international Four Day Equestrian Event, but it is also an ideal setting for an outdoor barbeque among the olive trees.

The city’s main shopping area, together with the East and West End entertainment districts are nearby, as is the Adelaide Railway Station, Festival Theatre, Museum, Art Gallery, Adelaide Oval and the National Wine Centre.

The Club is a short taxi ride from the Adelaide Airport and the National Railway Terminal and is ideally suited for those who wish to explore the city or to use the Club as a base for touring the Adelaide Hills, Barossa and McLaren Vale wine districts.

The Club’s car park only adds to the convenience of the Club’s location.

The Club has boutique-style accommodation which provides four elegantly, well-appointed ensuite rooms’ at most competitive rates for members, guests and reciprocal club visitors.

A welcoming home-away-from-home, each room has state-of-the-art amenities, including free to air television.

Car parking is available for passenger vehicles.

​

Room rates include continental breakfast, which is supplied in the rooms before check-in and replenished daily – includes bread, cereal, milk, assorted spreads and juice. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available in your room. For your convenience, daily newspapers are supplied downstairs in the members’ bar.

Check-in time: 12.00 pm
Check out time: 10.00 am

If you arrive before the check-in time, you can leave bags in the admin office until midday. Check-out time is strictly 10 am. However, if you are departing later in the day, you are welcome to leave your bags in the admin office until 1700.
