About the event

What the Defence Strategic Review means for Army and South Australia

With Guest Speaker, Lieutenant Colonel Levon Lambert

Rather than the traditional historical perspective that normally features at this event, our speaker will address a more contemporaneous topic to help everyone understand the current changes affecting the Army in SA.

As the Commanding Officer of one of the units most affected by decisions recently made by the Federal Government, Lieutenant Colonel Lambert is in a unique position to share insights into what these changes mean for Army units located in South Australia, as well as opportunities for the people and their families impacted by these changes.

Given the significance of the Defence sector in South Australia, changes of this scale will inevitably impact the State socially and economically. Lieutenant Colonel Lambert will engage with this topic to help everyone understand the importance of these changes and the strategic reasons that drive them.
