Welcome to the Naval, Military and Air Force Club of South Australia
Who we are
The Naval, Military and Air Force Club of South Australia is a prestigious private Club in Adelaide where its elegance and atmosphere offers a comfortable background to the social and networking needs of its members of all genders.
With the Club’s origins tracing back to 1879 when it formed as the Militia Officers’ Club of South Australia, it is not surprising that the Club continues to respect its military traditions and heritage. Historically, the Club has provided a comfortable Adelaide home for Officers of the Royal Australian Navy, the Army and the Royal Australian Air Force. Blended with an eclectic mix of civilians from all walks of life makes for an exciting atmosphere where like-minded people come together. The Club welcomes both men and women from a wide range of backgrounds.
Membership of the Club expanded to include ladies and gentlemen who have not served in the Armed Forces, and the Club has significantly benefited from this. The Club exists as a society of men and women who respect service traditions and share the Clubhouse facilities at 111 Hutt Street for their enjoyment and recreation.
While the Club plays a significant role in commemorating the customs and traditions of our past, it plays an equally important role in shaping the future.
