Who we are
The Naval, Military and Air Force Club of South Australia is a prestigious private member's club in Adelaide that warmly welcomes individuals of all genders and backgrounds, including those from professions, private industry, and government.
Although the Club was previously exclusive to gentlemen, it began accepting women members in the 1970s and strives to keep up with society's evolving values. Regardless of cultural, ethnic, or gender identity, the Club welcomes members who appreciate its history and respect its traditions.
The Club is located in a heritage-listed townhouse and offers comfortable and sophisticated surroundings where members and their guests can relax and socialize. The property also features a stunning, well-maintained garden that provides a perfect backdrop for private events like receptions, garden parties, and weddings.
With a helpful, dependable, and efficient staff, the Club ensures that all members are well taken care of. Various activities are available to cater to multiple interests, such as book clubs, billiards, mahjong, sports events, history groups, music recitals, and theatre nights.
Additionally, the Club provides casual dining, wine lunches, and formal dining evenings that pay homage to its customs and traditions.
Club members appreciate its welcoming ambience, uphold its values and traditions, and understand the importance of the Club's motto, "Pro Aris et Focus," which translates to "For hearth and home."
