About the event
The Club introduced this much anticipated event to the calendar in 2017, to reinstate a much-loved tradition that had lapsed with the passage of time.
Curry Tiffin, generally a lunch format, was a feature of Commonwealth Officers and Sergeants’ Messes across the globe, a legacy of ‘British India’ and the impact of cultural fusion.
We shifted it to Dinner, wrapped it around the great comedic parody of the ‘Ripping Yarns’ series of the late 1970s and a Club favourite was born.
Use your imagination and ‘frock up’ in Indian or Raj-themed attire and brace yourself to enjoy a night of Indian cuisine and goings-on that will bring a smile to the face of the stoniest of fun police. For homework, watch a few Raj-themed movie classics
