Guest Speaker: Ms Tiffany Sharp
Tiffany will present her company’s latest rocket launch findings from their latest mission in the Arctic Circle Sweden. As the Director of Space Cambrian Executive, Tiffany launched her microbial research on a sovereign payload, care of a German Aerospace DLR rocket, utilising Swedish Space Corporation launch capability earlier this year. The microbial research is of interest to medical, biomedical and life sciences, with a focus on gastro intestinal tract health of astronauts and space personnel longer term space travel. The microbials chosen may shed light on food security, optimal nutrition in remote and arid areas of earth and space. The presentation will explain the benefits of microgravity research, showcase photos from the Arctic circle rocket base, personal tales of the journey and elucidate just what is involved in launching your research on a rocket into space in the 21st century.

Guest Speaker Biography
Tiffany is a research scientist specialising in space business development, space health, innovative technology and microgravity research and co-founder of a defence industry consultancy and space business development company. She has a 24 year background in the defence and veteran community, and 10 years clinical experience as a practicing clinical nutritionist in counselling centres in Sydney and Perth.
Tiffany is a published researcher, co-author of peer reviewed papers on military veteran and family mental health, and co-author of Astronautical International Congress white papers on space law and stratospheric balloon research. She seeks to create pathways to space for microgravity research clients, recently launched Cambrians microbial research on a sub-orbital rocket in the Arctic Circle in 2024, is alumni of the International Space University, and a finalist in The King’s Trust Australia Beyond Service Awards. Her community outreach projects include work on military mental health and wellbeing frameworks, veteran partner peer support networks, conflict archaeology, space education outreach Pacific Islands and and as the co-founder of a national space diversity alliance: the Australian Space Diversity Alliance (ASDA), founded to support innovation, women and underrepresented cohorts in the Australian space sector.
