March Club Lunch 2026

Jeff Ayles Commemorative Lunch – honouring Club Veterans With Guest Speaker Stuart Bailey CSM It is 30 years since the Club heard from Members involved directly in the ‘two-way range’ of intense armed conflict.  They were WW2 and Korean veterans, part of a Military History program convened by the late Major Jeff Ayles, in whose memory our Veteran’s Lunch is named.

The Jeff Ayles Commemorative lunch is to acknowledge the Veterans of our Club, but it is of course open to all Club Members and their guests.

Until the subject of this year’s lunch, the most recent Battle Honour awarded to an Australian Army Unit was for the Battle of Binh Ba, in Vietnam over 6-8 June 1969, awarded to The Fifth Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR).
