A must for any Medical professional or aficionado, and for students of politics, Professor Colonel Annette Summers, AO, explains the circumstances surrounding one of the greatest ructions in Australian Medical history that happened in the Adelaide Hospital, as a result of direct political interference in a Hospital appointment. It irreparably split the Adelaide medical community, and caused the loss of the Hospital’s teaching status.
