*Date has been changed from February 12th CROMWELL This film starring Richard Harris and Alec Guinness chronicles the rise of Oliver Cromwell, during the tumultuous period of the English Civil War.  As tensions escalate between King Charles 1, who believed in the divine right of kings, and Parliament. The film explores Cromwell’s transformation from a country squire to a military leader, ultimately leading the Parliamentary forces against the King’s Cavaliers. This film highlights key historical events, including the King’s attempt to arrest members of Parliament which ignites a civil war. This film runs for 2hrs 20 mins.
