Club Dinner

'Nolan's Africa' With Guest Speaker Andrew Turley After leaving the military Andrew Turley took a road less travelled: from the army through advertising and Africa, arriving at international art history.

A New Zealander, he graduated ADFA, RMC and SME, returning to NZ and the Royal New Zealand Engineers, posted to the Ready Reaction Force, then Cambodia with a Mine Clearance Training Team in 1992. After the Army he ran advertising agencies – as a Managing Director and Company Director in both Australia and Singapore. He would de-stress from corporate life by travelling alone through Africa each year favouring countries off the beaten track: Angola, Cameroon, Mali, Burkina Faso and Namibia, to name a few.
