Reza and his kitchen team will demonstrate the secrets of the professional chef in preparing and cooking a selection of uniquely Indonesian dishes.
Our final Cooking Class for the year, led by Chef Reza will showcase Indonesian cuisine with a modern fusion of flavours from across the Indonesian archipelago. This practical experience will teach you to use fragrant spices and tropical fruits to create authentic dishes from scratch. The class will start with bubbles and a canape of crumbed traditional crepes followed by an entrée of tiger prawns with Balinese spice butter and Jakarta’s pineapple sambal, all of which you will learn to master at home. A main course of West Sumatra beef rendang is accompanied by a jackfruit curry. Baked coconut custard with young coconut flesh and vanilla bean ice-cream will complete the meal.
