About the event
GUEST SPEAKER: Alex Peel from Greenock Creek Wines
For nearly 40 years, Greenock Creek has proudly championed rich, powerful, long-lived red wines that launched Barossa onto the world’ s wine stage in the 1990’ s.
Greenock Creek wine is made in a time-honoured way that has endured four decades. Passed studiously from one winemaker to the next ensuring consistency of house style, whilst enabling each new generation their opportunity to quietly evolve wine expression.
The ‘Greenock Creek Vineyard & Cellars ’ name neatly captures their winemaking masterplan, which steadfastly adheres to the idea of ‘ vineyard first, winery second’. The aim of each wine crafted is to capture and promote the essence of regional and varietal character, and the distinct identity stamp of its vineyard source.
